Wizz Air announced today, that it will establish its 14th base in Vilnius, Lithuania. This means that eight new routes to Vilnius will open for air travellers.
Jozsef Varadi, Chief Executive Officer of Wizz Air said: “We are extremely delighted to reach our next expansion milestone. The opening of the Vilnius base will allow many people to enjoy our truly low fares coupled with excellent Wizz travel experience."
Passengers will soon be able to travel between Vilnius and the following destinations: London Luton, Doncaster-Sheffield, Cork, Eindhoven, Stockholm-Skavsta, Milan-Bergamo, Rome Fiumicino and Barcelona.
Wizz Air will fly the new routes for the first time on April 16th, 2011.
